Stuart Andrew

Stuart Andrew is an experienced financial and cost management consultant and operational manager with 10 years financial services and 12 years management consultancy experience. A Chartered Accountant, his areas of expertise include product and customer profitability, business process re-engineering and project and programme governance.

Stuart has recently completed an assignment for a leading life insurance company transitioning the finance function for their shared services into a pro-active decision support function. This included implementation of new finance processes, balanced scorecard and performance management MI based on Cognos, re-defining their ABM transfer pricing/charging process. Stuart also led their strategic planning process working with the shared services leadership team.

While with a major retail bank, Stuart managed the group's programme office, overseeing their change programmes totalling over 1bn, developing group-wide project management standards and people skills and implementing internal and external knowledge sharing forums. A major achievement was implementing a Basel II based operational risk process for projects and programmes.

Stuart was also part of the start-up management team for a mould breaking new internet bank, leading their financial and strategic planning process and heading up their cost management function.
